Determination Over Exhaustion
Life can be exhausting. Large, life changing goals can be kept out of reach because of the overwhelming cloud of tired that sweeps through the day to day. Working hard on something after a day of hard work becomes difficult because when weighing options, a nap seems really nice compared to another round of heavy lifting. But not every day is a good day to aggressively push either. Are you sick? You need to rest, so rest. Is there an important meeting tomorrow that you need to be ready for? Refresh your brain and turn in early. But are you really close to achieving a milestone on that goal? Stay up and push through.
Know yourself, know your limitations, know the boundaries of your responsibility, and know how much you want something and how much you’re willing to work to get there.
